Moving out of halls in July? It's time to start organising what you want to keep and what you'd like to donate!

We have donation points in:

📍Freemen's Common reception

📍John Foster reception

What we accept:

• Clothing, shoes, and accessories such as belts, scarves, handbags, and gloves.
• Books, DVDs, vinyl, and CDs.
• Household items such as bed linen, cookware, crockery, glassware, ornaments and cutlery (excluding knives).
• Non-perishable/canned in-date food.
• Small or disassembled furniture, including shelving, desks, tables and chairs.
• Occasionwear (dinner suits, dresses, ball gowns, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and pageboy outfits).
• Small electricals in good working conditions (excluding microwaves, personal and hygiene appliances and items with built-in batteries).

What we don't accept:

• Clothing: Nightwear, children's clothing, animal furs, socks, underwear or swimwear.
• Homeware: Stained pillows, oil, gas, microwaves, dirty/stained towels.
• Sharps or weapons: Gardening scissors, shaving kits, a knife, firelighters.
• Household items: Opened cleaning agents, dirty cleaning tools, cosmetics and toiletries, unless not used and sealed with ingredients listed.
• Any used personal appliances and safety items.

While we appreciate your donation, please be mindful of what items should not be donated. Only donate items that are still in good condition.

Remember: You don't want to leave donating and packing until the last day of your contract. It's much easier if you start now, and let's be honest, you're gonna be carrying so much more on leaving day if you leave it. We know it might not be the most thrilling thing to do, but put some music on and have a dance to get you motivated!
