Courtney Williams, Duty Manager of Residence Life Leicester, has been awarded the CUBO & Acuho-I New Residence Life Professional of the Year Award for her amazing contribution to student life at the University of Leicester.
The trophy also wins her a place at the 2027 Acuho-I conference, funded by CUBO & Acuho-I up to $3000!
Courtney published a post on LinkedIn thanking CUBO and the university for all their support and recognition:
"It was amazing being in a space with so many talented and passionate people who care so much about students, community and Residence Life - so this was a really special moment.
Huge thank you to CUBO College and University Business Officers for the recognition, and to everyone who helped put together such a brilliant conference.
I also want to thank the University of Leicester for the support, encouragement, and opportunities I've had throughout my Residence Life journey so far - I wouldn't be here without the incredible colleagues, students and teams I get to work with every day.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has shared ideas, challenges, laughs, and conversations along the way. Residence Life is such a people-focused profession, and that's what makes moments like this so special"
Courtney finished by saying:
"Feeling very lucky, very grateful, and very inspired coming away from this!"
Well done, Courtney. The Residence Life team are so proud of you! ❤️
