Complete the online form in case of emergencies

We recommend writing down on your 'arrival' to-do list, registering with a GP. While you may be someone who doesn't get ill very often, it's better to have the safety net of a local GP. It will also mean you'll get seen quicker!

Victoria Park Health Centre is right next to campus, which is highly convenient for mild or major medical issues.

Online Registration

To register with them, you'll need to complete the student online registration form. It typically takes around 15 minutes to complete. 

If you have included a mobile number and consented to receiving messages, they will send you a message when your application has been processed, and you have successfully been registered. (It will usually take 7 working days for your form to be processed).

International Students

If you are an overseas student staying in the UK for more than six months, you will have to pay an Immigration Health Surcharge as part of your visa application. This entitles you to use the NHS for free, although you will still need to pay some charges - such as prescriptions, eye tests and dental care - in the same way as a UK resident.
